Cliff to get info from son in law regarding covering of courts 7, 8 and 9.
Coaching: Poor response to internal
leagues, entry deadline extended. Nigel Rees is to help with Adult Coaching in
New Year. Young competition organisers, Danny Kasto and Ffion
Davies.
Teams: 4
Men’s teams if possible. Captains 1st – Geoff Muxworthy, 2nd
– TBA, 3rd – Jeff Gleave, 4th – Norman Allnatt. Ladies, 1st – Jodie Jenkins, 2nd – TBA, 3rd
– TBA.
Treasurers
Report: £110.80 in current A/C. A full register report was
given to all committee members present.
British
Tennis Membership: A quick discussion round the table on how easy
it was to enlist with free membership until at least 2012.
AOB:
Jeff Gleave is to go on the South Wales Tennis Committee. Tony Cuff talked
about a ‘Race’ way of earning money for the club as well as making it an
enjoyable evening for members. Robin Chen produced an extensive list of ‘Ideas For Discussion’ document which was thoroughly talked through
with a few action points that Robin will follow up with committee help. Thanks was given for Robins time and energy with this.
