SWANSEA LAWN TENNIS AND SQUASH RACKETS CLUB TENNIS COMMITTEE

MEETING 11^th OCTOBER 2009

6.30pm

Present: Geoff Muxworthy, John Gregory, Jeff Gleave, Craig Ingham

1. Previous minutes: Approved.

2. Courts – a member had fallen over a line on one of the clay courts and had threatened to sue the club. Agreed needed to patch repair line immediately.

Agreed priority for work on courts as follows;

4/5/6 – weedkiller and mosskiller courts – patch lines for now – aim to replace in spring.

7/8/9 – weedkiller and mosskiller courts.

Date for next working party agreed.

3. Coaching – Craig agreed to organise internal competitions at the club.

Some disputes had arisen between members and coaches re utilisation of courts particularly on Tuesday evening and Saturdays. GM will review.
