1. Previous Minutes

• All agreed and signed as accurate.

1. Coaching

• Issue between the Glamorgan and our club coaches has arisen. Letter to be sent to tennis Wales outlining the problems and GM to raise the issue at the management committee meeting as club pay for performance club and this is being impacted.

1. Courts

• Mark Davies has been very accommodating with the inclement weather and has moved on occasion to the university courts. It is requested that members do not approach coaches during lesson as a court usage chart is on the board.
• Courts 7/8/9 are in good condition but no lights so keeping these open will not help the court usage problem at present. This has been caused by the extreme wet months and the courts have been unable to drain properly. This means 4/5/6 have been unplayable for large parts of the month. University courts are available and care and drainage of the courts will need to be looked at with the grounds men.
• Sit on machine for the top courts is still being looked at. GM stated he had a flyer and would show to the management committee to look at feasibility of purchase.

1. Matches/Tournaments

• Cymru Kitchens being played where weather permits.
• Men are 2 matches behind and trying to catch up.
• Mixed – 6 games and 6 wins – well done!
• Ladies – won 3, lost 2.

1. Social

• Quiz went down well although more members always welcome – thanks to Iris.
• New Year Day ‘free for all to play’ at 2pm being organised.

1. Any Other Business

• Suggested another mixed club time for Saturday afternoon and this to be raised at the AGM for all members.
• ‘Open Day’ to be raised at next meeting.
